Steady-state Intraband Transition

This paper, Air-Stable n‑Doped Colloidal HgS Quantum Dots, first reported the steady state intraband transition of colloidal quantum dots. Both absorption and photoluminescence of the intraband transition of beta-HgS CQDs were successfully measured.

Single electron in a QD

This paper, Singly and Doubly Occupied Quantum States in Nanocrystals, first reported the presence of a single electron in the conduction band of QD. This state is called the singly occupied quantum state, an analogy to the SOMO of a molecule.
